Did you hear that know on your door? Fall has arrived and she’s bringing opportunity, offering us a chance to LET GO!!! We can follow her lead and release old baggage, melt away resistance to growth, dump our head trash or even shed a few pounds. Take advantage of the seasonal energy. It’s your time. Releasing is in order. Here are a few of my favorite quotes to support your journey into newness.

Yes, I’ve heard this one all of my life. When I was young, it was much easier. I’d leave my little troubles right on the church altar. As I got older, sometimes it seemed God just wasn’t moving fast enough so I would go back and pick up my troubles and start trying to solve them all by myself. But time and time again, I’ve learned that the Universe is really on my side. You notice it in simple things like arriving at a office supply store in desperate need of ink for your printer and finding that you got the last one. Or maybe you’ve met someone who provides a service that you needed but you didn’t know how to locate. And this person “just happened” to show up. This old saying reminds us to have faith. Or as Shakti Gawain might say, put your desires in a pink bubble and say, “This or something better is manifesting for me now.”

I know. Sometimes it’s easier said than done. We’ve heard it so many times from so many sources. I talked with my students about rumination the other day. That’s when we behave like one of those old albums or a bad CD and we keep repeating the same phrase in our head. Usually, it’s a thought that weighs us down. So, enter fall. You can release this pattern. Put in the effort you need. Follow your plan and trust yourself. You are enough to make it all happen. But remember, like we learned above, you have help. Notice the invisible and visible support in your world. You’ve got all the goodness of the Universe and those who love you. Release suffering. Claim peace. Be faithful.

Anne of Green Gables is one of my favorite movie series. This quote lights up my heart every time that I hear it. If offers such sweet release. Why? Because it reminds me that we get another chance to make things right. We can learn from our mistakes and start with a clean slate. Let Fall be your tomorrow. Find something you want to change, something you want to correct and get moving on it. You can think of this time as an opportunity to clear road ahead. As you let go, look for new horizons, ways of being your best you. Open to a new level of greatness.
