Over the weekend, I was in training. I learned more about how to build and preserve my body, mind & spirit. I spent 2 full days recharging and squirreling away energy.
It was a beautiful and an intense experience. It’s much like the pressure that creates diamonds or the 90 minutes of oven heat that makes a bowl full of batter rise into a golden brown, delicious pound cake.
Yeah. Something markedly beautiful emerges out of the pressure and the heat. Deep soul searching conversations, good food to nourish my body at the deepest level, limiting beliefs released & transformed, and reflection nudge us to rise and shine.
I said to one of my friends that mediocrity frightens me beyond measure. The idea that I won’t fulfill my purpose or that I would only get to 6 out of 10 when I could really get 20 out of 10 is just all wrong to me.
Greatness has some risks too; but it’s not nearly as scary as mediocrity for me. As we talked about last week, the “failures” along achievement road can challenge our resolve.
I shared some of my best mindset magic tools for transforming failure into progress. This week I’m bringing some of my favorite quotes.
I’ve found that good inspiration can create a quick shift in my energy. I’m moved. My vision is clearer. I can see possibilities and pathways again.
Here are some precious jewels. Pair them with your favorite outfit when you need to get moving from failure back to fabulous.
“It’s not failure. It’s feedback".

“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly”.
~Robert F. Kennedy
“Have faith in your skills. Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will”.
~Suzy Kassem
“Success is failure turned inside out….So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit”.
~ From “Don’t Quit” ~Unknown Author
“You must act as if it is impossible to fail”.
~Ashanti Proverb
“Giving up is the only sure way to fail”.
~Gena Showalter
“If you can pick up after a crushing defeat, and go on to win again, you are going to be a champion someday”.
~Wilma Rudolph
You were not meant for mediocrity. You are moving toward an inspired destiny. You’re building a legacy. The world is and will be a better place because of you. When you hit a rough patch, take a break. Then, look in the mirror and find your fabulous self.
